Meet the Team
Brittany Davidson
Studio Manager; Senior Body Piercer & Jewellery Stylist.

Years of Experience: In 2008; I completed a diploma of Beauty Therapy. This is how I started out and began to perform basic piercings. I loved that side of the industry but knew that it could be done more professionally and that it could be its own expansive speciality. In 2016 I took the leap to expand my skill set and focus on piercing as its own entity and that’s when the former Castle hill piercing studio was established. In 2018 the business changed locations and became its own entity ‘The Hills piercing studio’
Specialties: My favourite piercings to do are ear cartilage piercings. With such an array of jewellery available; a custom look is able to be achieved for all - adding to your individual look. Particularly I love conch piercings.
Certifications: Diploma of beauty therapy 2018. AUPP founding member Since 2019. APP Member since 2024. Yearly blood borne pathogens training, CPR and first aid. Tafe course; hltinf005-maintain-infection-control-in-skin-penetration-treatments
Passion for the Job: I couldn’t dream of being in a better industry. We are blessed with the most amazing clients; whom are great to chat too and I love being able to create their own unique piercing curations that they love and treasure. Piercing jewellery is worn 24/7 making it such a valuable item and piercings themselves add to our individuality. It’s such a fun and uplifting industry to be a part of.
Personal Style: Personally I love white gold, a pop of colour and larger feature pieces of jewellery that stand out and catch the eye - so I look to add one of those elements in to a curation plan; working with the clients gold colour preference.
Community Connection: I have two gorgeous girls and am a local mum in the hills district community. I love being part of a child’s first piercings and creating that memorable moment. I grew up as a local in the Castle Hill, Norwest and Rosehill Area.
Personal Interests: When I am not in the studio I love being out in the sun, swimming and spending time with my girls! I love going to concerts and watching a good supernatural tv series - favourite all times series ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’.

Years of Experience: Started piercing in 2019
Specialties: Favourite piercings to do: rook, conch, paired nostrils.
Certifications: AUPP since Sept 2023, APP since April 2024. Bloodborne Pathogens APP course completed annually. First Aid and CPR trained. I also graduated in 2022 from UNSW with a Bachelor of Advanced Science in Microbiology, with First Class Honours. My background in microbiology has given me a deeper insight into how important sterilisation and correct aseptic technique is to the health and healing of client piercings.
Passion for the Job: I love how body piercings can completely transform a person’s confidence. It is so exciting to see people from all walks of life, from young kids getting their first lobes pierced, to someone getting their 20th piercing, look in the mirror and feel amazing!
Personal Style: My own personal style involves a lot of white gold and sparkle! I love to mix a range of big statement pieces with smaller, dainty pieces to form a cohesive look that accentuate and enhance anatomy. I always love an opportunity to add a chain or charm to an existing healed piercing to add a bit of movement and make the piercing unique for each individual client.
Community Connection: I pride myself in creating a welcoming and safe environment for all clients in the studio. I love chatting with clients about their piercing and jewellery plans and determining the best way to achieve the client’s ideal look, which can involve custom ordering specific pieces to fit the client’s aesthetic.
Personal Interests: When I am not in the studio I am usually snuggling with my 3 kitties, Apollo, Astro, and Celeste. I also love being surrounded by good music and great friends such as attending concerts and festivals of my favourite artists, and watching performances of my favourite musicals.

Passion for the Job: I love piercing because it’s a blend of art and self-expression. Every piercing tells a story, and I feel honoured to be part of that journey for my clients. Seeing someone walk out of the studio with a new sense of confidence and pride in their individuality is incredibly rewarding.
Personal Style: I have a love for minimalist and dainty designs and I try to bring that into the jewellery I recommend. I also love gold jewellery and creating a look with both crystals and solid gold, tailoring jewellery pieces to the client.
Community Connection: I’ve lived in this area for years, and being part of the local community is so important to me. My goal is to make the studio a safe, welcoming space for everyone, whether it’s their first piercing or their tenth. I’ve also worked hard to build trust with clients by ensuring a clean and professional environment.
Personal Interests: Outside the studio I spend my free time reading either fantasy or romance novels, and bring a kindle everywhere I go. I am also a major Swiftie and Gracie Abrams fan.
