Before you visit
Preparing for your piercing appointment
A little preparation goes a long way in creating a smooth, safe, and comfortable piercing experience. This guide will help you know what to expect and how to prepare before visiting the studio.
Stay healthy and prepared
For your safety and comfort, it’s important that you arrive well-prepared for your appointment. Please ensure you are feeling healthy and free from illness on the day of your visit.
Why we only use needles
Cleaner & Safer: Single-use, sterile needles eliminate cross-contamination risks associated with piercing guns.
Less Trauma: Needles create clean openings without blunt force, supporting smoother healing.
Greater Precision: Direct placement allows for straighter, more accurate piercings.
Piercing guns cannot be properly sterilised and are not suitable for professional body piercing.
Age identification & Consent
You must be 16 years or over to receive a piercing without parental consent. Some piercings, such as nipple piercings, require you to be 18 years or over, regardless of consent. Please note that we are required to check ID for all clients even if you appear older than 16.
What ID do I need to bring?
Valid, government-issued photo ID is required for all piercing services.
Accepted forms of ID include:
Driver’s Licence (physical or digital)
Proof of Age Card
Passport

Parking & Arrival
Parking is available at ground level outside the building. While reserved business spots are not monitored, signage for The Hills Piercing Studio is available. Please do not park under the building. If parking is limited, you can park at Norwest Shopping Centre and walk across.
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and consultation.
